Lahore: Two days are left for Eid al-Adha and the prices of the animals in the cattle markets are skyrocketing.
As the day of Eid approaches, people have turned to the markets to buy goats, cows, bullocks and camels, where the prices and arguments between the traders and buyers are underway.
People who go to buy animals from the cattle market complain about the cattle being expensive, while the sellers are of the opinion that there are no customers.
On the other hand, as the day of sacrifice approaches, the knife sharpeners have increased the rates and are charging extortionate prices from the citizens.
