ADB okays $400mn for Pakistan
Money will be spent for rehabilitation and relief of flood victims in Sindh
Islamabad: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) Friday approved a loan of 400 million dollars for Pakistan.
According to the details, ADB officials said that the money will be spent for the rehabilitation and relief of the flood victims in Sindh.
He said that the money would be used for the Sindh Emergency Housing Project. It will help in rebuilding the houses of the flood victims.
According to officials, 2,50,000 flood victims will be provided with cash assistance for building houses.
It is pertinent to note that on June 5, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved a loan of 250 million dollars for Pakistan.
The ADB will provide $250 million to help the government make sustainable investments in infrastructure, with funds to support the government's public-private partnership services.
