Mass relief as Nepra reduces power tariff
The per unit price has been reduced by Rs1.28
Islamabad: Giving minor relief to the masses, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has reduced the price of electricity for the rest of the country except Karachi by Rs1.28 per unit.
A notification to reduce the price of electricity was issued.
The electricity price has been lowered in the monthly adjustment for September 2024 and the electricity consumers will get the price reduction relief in the November bills.
According to the notification, the reduction in electricity price will not be applicable to the K-Electric consumers.
