Shehbaz stated that every year 1,000 graduates will be sent to China for agricultural training


Karachi: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Friday said that they have to focus on value addition of agricultural goods.
Addressing the opening ceremony of the International Food and Agriculture Exhibition in Karachi, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the exports of agricultural products of Pakistan have reached $3 billion and the target for the next year should be $7 billion, which is difficult but not impossible.
He added that there are vast opportunities for the export of Pakistan's agricultural products in the Gulf countries. The production of agricultural goods has increased in the country.
The Prime Minister further said that there are many opportunities to increase agricultural production in Pakistan. It is possible increase exports through modern technology, research, and development. The federation and the provinces should focus on the development of the agricultural sector together. Special attention should be paid to value addition of agricultural products.
Shehbaz Sharif also stated that every year 1,000 graduates will be sent to China for agricultural training, we have to focus on value addition of agricultural products.
He continued to say: “We are all proud of Arshad Nadeem, we are thankful to Allah Almighty for his success. After 40 years, Pakistan has won gold medal in Olympics, time has come for cricket, hockey, and other sports to be promoted too”.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited various stalls and distributed awards among the best exporters in the agricultural sector.
