Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Monday that 1,000 agricultural graduates will be sent to China for higher education as part of a new initiative aimed at enhancing the skills of Pakistan’s youth.
During a ceremony in Islamabad, the Prime Minister also unveiled an agreement with Huawei, which will provide training to 200,000 students annually. This partnership is designed to equip the next generation with the skills needed to excel in the modern economy.
In his address, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that banks have been directed to offer ownership opportunities and loans to young people, supporting their entrepreneurial ambitions. He emphasized that these measures are intended to foster development and prosperity in Pakistan, with additional initiatives to be announced soon.
The Prime Minister extended his congratulations to key officials, including Rana Tanveer Hussain, Attaullah Tarar, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and Ahsan Iqbal, for their contributions. He humorously acknowledged Ahsan Iqbal’s unique ability to connect with both rural and urban communities, urging everyone to learn from past experiences as they move forward.
