Ali Amin Gangdapur says efforts are being made to promote sports in the province

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Wednesday emphasized the importance of protecting the younger generation from the curse of drugs and guiding them towards sports.
He praised Arshad Nadeem, calling him a pride of Pakistan, and announced that he would personally award him 5 million rupees from his own pocket rather than the state treasury.
The Chief Minister mentioned that efforts are being made to promote sports in the province.
He made this announcement on Wednesday.
Ali Amin Gandapur also stated that Arshad Nadeem would soon be invited to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He highlighted that the youth are both the pride and the hope of the nation, and that they are responsible for improving Pakistan’s future. He noted that the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, stands strong due to his sports training.
He further added that he would request Arshad Nadeem to come to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for three days to train the youth in javelin throw. He expressed confidence that the young people of the region would make the nation proud on the global stage. A budget has been allocated for sports, and opportunities will be provided to the youth.
