Indian prime minister is visiting Ukraine at the time of conflict in Central Asia

Moscow: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Ukraine on August 23-24 has once again exposed India’s double standards.
Modi’s visit to Kyiv came at a time when India's foreign policy is under intense scrutiny, particularly regarding its relationship with Russia.
Earlier, when Russia launched an attack on a children's hospital in Ukraine, Modi was honored with Russia's highest civilian award, a move that sparked widespread criticism.
Despite this, Modi's earlier visit to Russia resulted in significant diplomatic achievements, including the signing of nine key agreements.
Among these was an agreement to repatriate 35 Indian citizens who had been fighting for the Russian military in Ukraine, underscoring India's commitment to the safety of its nationals, even in complex international scenarios.
While India continues to purchase oil from Russia, a decision that has raised concerns in the West, it also maintains a supportive stance towards Ukraine, providing aid and fostering diplomatic ties.
This dual approach reflects India's broader strategy of maintaining a balanced relationship with both Russia and Ukraine, despite the geopolitical pressures.
