11 cops killed in rocket attack on police vehicles in Rahim Yar Khan

Rahim Yar Khan: At least 11 policemen were killed and 10 others were injured after a gang of robbers fired rockets at two police vehicles in Rahim Yar Khan district on Thursday night.

The RYK District Police Officer said the attack took place in the Kacha area of Machka when both police mobiles were stuck in the rainwater. It appeared that the suspects got an opportunity to fire rockets on the vehicles.

Four policemen went missing in the attack. 

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the incident and saluted the martyrs and prayed for the early recovery of the injured victims.
