Houses and vehicles have been submerged in several feet of water in the affected areas


Gujarat: Due to heavy rains in the Indian state of Gujarat, the water level in the rivers increased to a dangerous level, while 16 people died in different incidents during two days.
According to a foreign news agency, it is raining unusually in Gujarat, during which a high increase in the rivers level has also been recorded. After the dangerous rise in the water level, a red alert has been issued and the army has been called to help in the rescue operation.
On the other hand, the residential areas of Baroda, Jamnagar, and Morbi of the state have been flooded everywhere, and houses and vehicles have been submerged in several feet of water in the affected areas.
According to media reports, 16 people were killed in various incidents during two days and more than 30,000 people have been shifted to safe places. There was a flood situation in the rain-affected areas due to which educational institutions were closed and train services were also affected.

According to meteorological analysts, the system under which it was raining in cities of Sindh including Karachi is coming from Indian Gujarat.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in various cities of Sindh from August 27 to August 31.
