Armed forces troops salute at Mazar-e-Quaid, Sindh Governor, CM also present
Murad Ali Shah said that keeping personal grudges aside, move the country forward under the vision of Quaid-e-Azam
Karachi: On the occasion of the death anniversary of Father of the Nation Muhammad Ali Jinnah, troops of armed forces saluted at Mazar-e-Quaid while the Governor and Chief Minister of Sindh also attended and laid flowers at Mazar-e-Quaid.
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's 76th death anniversary (September 11) is being celebrated with devotion and respect across the country today. In this regard, troops of the three-armed forces saluted the Quaid's shrine and placed flowers on the shrine. Representatives of the armed forces also recorded their views in the book.
Meanwhile, Governor and Chief Minister of Sindh visited Mazar-e-Quaid on the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation and laid flowers.
Talking to the media on this occasion, Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori said that it is the 76th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam. The entire cabinet of Sindh including the Chief Minister is present here. He stated that the purpose under which the Quaid-e-Azam has acquired this country, I have written in my comments that we are ashamed, because there are events like May 9.
Governor of Sindh added: “I think that we have to sacrifice millions more. We have to learn from the sacrifices of the martyrs. Whether it is August 14 or September 6, we are sending a message to the world that we are one nation”.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said in the conversation that keeping personal grudges aside, move the country forward under the vision of Quaid-e-Azam. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto sacrificed under this vision.
In his message on the father of the nation's anniversary, the Sindh Chief Minister said that Quaid-e-Azam had founded this great state, we are moving on the same way. He met the British government's demand for a separate country for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
He said that today we all have to unite to protect this country against terrorism. We have been blessed with this country after great sacrifices. We have to prepare the next generation to play a role in the development of this country.
