Pakistani Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmad Khan received the goods and noted that Pakistan will continue the humanitarian efforts to provide relief to Afghans.

The relief package included around 10 tonnes of flour, 1.5 tonnes of ghee and a large quantity of medicines.

The Ambassador said that another C-130 will arrive at Kandahar Airport tomorrow carrying emergency supplies.

Moreover, the Chaman and Torkhan border would be utilized alongside the air channel to provide assistance goods.

Last month, the Executive Director of United Nations' World Food Program (WFP) David Beasley hailed the efforts of Pakistan for erecting a "humanitarian air bridge" to Afghanistan.
