‘Over 20 million fully vaccinated’; Asad Umar hopeful to surpass set target
Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar Friday said more than twenty million people have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus in Pakistan.
In his tweets today, the Minister said, “In the early days of the vaccination campaign we had set a daunting target of vaccinating 7 crore people by the end of this year”.
He further added, “Happy to report that 5 crore people have now recieved atleast 1 dose”.
He expressed the confidence to meet and surpass the set target of jabs and wrote, “Inshallah will meet & surpass the target”.
