Pakistani peacekeeper martyred in Darfur
Rawalpindi: One peacekeeper of Pakistan embraced martyrdom in the line of duty in Darfur, Sudan.
As per Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lance Naik Adil Jan from the Frontier Constabulary (FC) Balochistan was a resident of Lakki Marwat.
Adil was a part of the United Nations (UN) mission to Darfur in Sudan and had the responsibility to guard the civilians and facilitate humanitarian assistance.
For the purpose of global peace and security, hitherto 161 Pakistanis have laid down their lives as a part of blue helmets.
