The match is being played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Moeen Ali from England struck 51 from 37 balls, while Dawid Malan scored 41.

NZ bowlers Tim Southee, Adam Milne, Ish Sodhi and James Neesham grabbed one wicket each. New Zealand won the toss and elected to field first.
