Pakistan takes important decision regarding C category Countries’ citizens
Karachi: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has taken a major decision regarding the arrival of international passengers in Pakistan.
According to details, the COVID-19 SOPs regarding the arrival of international passengers in Pakistan have been extended till March 14. Director Civil Aviation Authority Irfan Sabir has issued a notification regarding SOPs.
According to the new notification, the category C list has been further expanded, bringing the number of countries in this category to eight, with the United Kingdom, South Africa, Ireland, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Botswana and Zambia in category C.
According to a new notification issued by the Director Civil Aviation Authority, a temporary travel ban has been maintained on the arrival of C-category nationals in Pakistan. Further COVID-19 negative test report and CAA's NCO have been made mandatory for C category passengers.
According to the notification, Category A includes 24 countries, including Australia, China, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. All countries except Category A and C are included in Category B. Passengers from Category B countries are also required to present a corona negative test before traveling.
