PM Imran Khan congratulates Communication Ministry, NHA for 'saving public money'

'There has been 125 percent increase in the revenue'

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday congratulated Ministry of Communication and National Highway Authority (NHA) for saving public money through transparency and digitization.

Taking it to Twitter, the premier said that regardless of price hike and inflation, the present government has constructed road infrastructure at a less rate when compared with the PML-N government.

He said there has been 125 percent increase in the revenue of National Highway Authority and land worth 5.18 billion rupees freed from encroachments.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the 293-kilometre long Hakla-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway, expressing the confidence that this important part of the Western route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would help raise the living standards of the people in these areas.
