Kabul: An explosion has been is reported outside a school in Lal Pur district in Afghanistan's eastern province of Nangarhar on Monday—leaving nine causalities behind, GNN reported.
An explosion rocked outside a school in Lal Pur district in Afghanistan's eastern province of Nangarhar on Monday, killing four students and injuring 10 others, a district official.
"So far, we have no more details, but we will try to get more information," an official said.
Meanwhile, Nadir Muhmand, chairman of a district youth council said that the incident occurred midday when an improvised bomb attached to a handcart was detonated outside Warsak School.
Over a dozen of students were affected by the explosion.
As per an eyewitness, the injured people were transported to a hospital in the district.
The security forces, however, cordoned off the area for precautionary measures.
Meanwhile, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
