COAS appreciates army’s relief operations in Murree, Balochistan
246th Corps Commanders’ Conference comprehensively reviews border management, internal security
Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa appreciated the efforts of formations involved in relief operations to mitigate challenges of people affected due to snow storm in Murree and heavy rainfalls in Balochistan.
According to the Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations in a media release, General Bajwa said this while presiding over the 246th Corps Commanders’ Conference held at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
The DG ISPR said that the corps commanders’ meeting took a comprehensive review of the security situation with a particular focus on Border Management and Internal Security. The participants were apprised of the progress and achievements of Operation Radd ul Fassad in detail.
On the occasion, the army chief appreciated the efforts of formations involved in relief operations to mitigate challenges of people affected due to snow storm in Murree and heavy rainfalls in Balochistan.
COAS Bajwa expressed satisfaction over operational preparedness of the formations and emphasized continued mission oriented training to ensure combat readiness in the face of emerging threats and challenges.
