Dawson bowled a short ball and Zaman looked to cut it but got caught at the third man
Lahore: Lahore Qalandars set 169-run target for Islamabad United as both teams battle each other for a seat in the eliminator 2 of the Pakistan Super League's (PSL) seventh edition at Gaddafi Stadium.
The winner of this virtual semi-final will play Multan Sultans in the final on Sunday night.
Liam Dawson gave a big relief to his team as he dismissed Fakhar Zaman in the first over Dawson bowled a short ball and Zaman — who is the highest scoring batter in PSL 7 — looked to cut it but got caught at the third man. Waqas Maqsood caught the ball to dismiss the batter for one run, leaving Fakhar in shock.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars have won the toss and elected to bat first against Islamabad United. The winner of this virtual semi-final will play Multan Sultans in the final on Sunday night.
