Sources said that the PML-N has decided to not delay the matter further.


Islamabad: The joint opposition will submit a no-trust motion in the National Assembly (NA) secretariat today, GNN reported quoting sources.
According to sources, the opposition would also file a requisition notice seeking a session of the lower house of Parliament to table the no-trust move.
Reports citing sources revealed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif presided over a meeting today and announced that the opposition will move the no-confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the next 24 hours.
Sources said that the PML-N has decided to not delay the matter further.
“Opposition plans on submitting the document for the no-trust move to the NA Secretariat either today or tomorrow,” sources added.
In the meantime, the three bigwig Opposition leaders — Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, PML-N's Shahbaz, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman — will address a press conference today 4:30 pm.
It is pertinent to mention here that NA Speaker Asad Qaiser was not present in the Secretariat when the Opposition leaders reached there.
