Chaudhry Fawad said JUI-F goons apologized, ran off but they should not have been allowed to leave

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Friday said that the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) goons apologized and ran off but they should not have been allowed to leave.
While taking over his Twitter handle, the minister said that this incident revealed the fake intellectuals who, in hatred of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan supported the goons of JUI-F.
Fawad Chaudhry further said that a mafia has united to protect their interests.

Earlier, Special Assistant to PM on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill said in his tweet: “Fazlur Rehman Sahib kept calling here and there throughout the night, seeking forgiveness and asking for the release of his men in order to save his honor. Then he asked his (detained) men to apologize. All the fever went down in just one night. In principle, the authorities should not have released them. But we do not want to allow them to run away from the political arena on this pretext.”
