PML-Q leader sayd selling of votes is propaganda, no rally can stop voter MNAs


Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League–Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain Friday said that the PML-Q leader said when a voter decides to cast his vote, then can't a crowd of 100 million stop him too.
According to local media reports, the PML-Q leader said that this is the first election in which no one is buying or selling the vote, this is just propaganda.
He also reiterated his appeal to He said the government and the opposition to postpone their rallies and warned if anyone dies or is killed in these rallies scheduled on March 27, all will regret it.
He said nowadays on media it is saying that the sacks of notes have been opened, even the premier has also mentioned the opening of sacks of notes in Sindh House.
“This is the first election in which no one is buying votes and no one is selling votes, this is just propaganda. This is the first time that the government and the opposition are holding rallies on the same issue,” Chaudhry Shujaat maintained.
Earlier, the activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) broke open the main gate of the Sindh House and entered the property.
Policemen deployed at the Sindh House and PTI activists have come face to face. Islamabad police have also arrived to handle the untoward situation, but to no avail.
The PTI workers chanted slogans against the PTI MNAs and in the support of Prime Minister Imran Khan. PTI MNA Atta Ullah Niazi is also present along with the workers.
Initially the protest began peacefully, but it soon took a violent turn as demonstrators broke the gate open and stormed inside the Sindh House.
Hordes of PTI workers, including the youth members of the party, started demonstrating outside the lodges.
They also smashed the lotay with their feet. A lota is a derogatory term in Pakistani politics, used for turncoats.
Furthermore, the PTI and ISF workers in Faisalabad also protested against MNA Raja Riaz at the Zila Council Chowk. The protesters demanded Riaz resign from the party.
The demonstrators held placards and posters depicting the faces of the MNAs covered in black ink. A huge crowd blocked the road and chanted slogans against the MNAs.
A similar protest also took place in Peshawar.
