Met Office predicts rain, thundershowers in parts of country
Islamabad: Rain or thundershowers accompanied by winds is likely to occur in different regions of the country today (Tuesday) and it may continue until Sunday.
According Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Balochistan, Upper Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours.
In Punjab, heavy rains are expected in Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sargodha and other districts of Punjab with prediction of hailstorm in Lahore.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, Kohat, Dir, Swat, Shangla and Buner are liekly to experience heavy rain with thundershower.
However, mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country.
