Islamabad: The orders has been issued to open the doors of Supreme Court at 12am. According to sources, the court staff has been directed to reach the top court.
The uncertainty prevailed among the legislators of the joint Opposition on Saturday after the National Assembly Speaker kept delaying the voting process on the no-confidence motion resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The session, that has been continuing since 12:30pm, witnessed a series of speeches from both the treasury and opposition benches.
It is yet not clear whether or not the voting would take place, but top leaders - Shahbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari - had already demanded to initiate the process of voting in the light of the Supreme Court's verdict.
It is reported that the officials of the National Assembly Secretariat are also perplexed about the ongoing session.
