Principal secretary writes to secretary interior for security of Imran Khan as ex-PM: sources
The secretary interior marked the letter to the Additional Home Secretary for necessary action


Islamabad: The principal secretary to the Prime Minister, Azam Khan, has sought security of Imran Khan as former Prime Minister, sources told GNN.
Sources said Prime Minister's Principal Secretary Azam Khan's letter to the secretary interior to make arrangements for Imran Khan as former Prime Minister.
"Arrangements should be made according to the proposed security procedures, sources said while quoting the letter.
The Home Secretary marked the letter to the Additional Home Secretary for necessary action.

It was asked to provide complete security review report.
Sources further said Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid also demanded security after leaving the ministry. Both letters were being reviewed, Interior Ministry sources further said.
