Names for federal cabinet likely to be announced tonight

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leadership to an Iftar dinner at PM House on Friday night.
According to details, newly elected PM Shehbaz Sharif has invited the PDM parties leaders where a discussion is expected on the strategy the coalition parties will adopt to run government affairs.
At the dinner, the premier will likely thank all the parties within PDM for working together to get him elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
It is pertinent to remember that the united opposition had ousted former prime minister Imran Khan from the office through a vote of no-confidence, electing Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif as Prime Minister.
There has been no progress on the cabinet formation despite the passage of four days since Shehbaz Sharif took oath as the premier.
