Maryam deplores Imran Khan for 'repeatedly changing narrative on foreign conspiracy'
The PML-N stalwart claims the letter the PTI chief has been referring to as evidence "does not even exist"
Attock: PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz accused the ex-premier and PTI chairman Imran Khan of "repeatedly changing his narrative" about the foreign conspiracy that led to his [Imran] ouster from the power.
"First he [Imran] asserted that the letter was received in March and just a day ago he disclosed that he was aware of the plot since July [last year]," she said while addressing a public gathering in Fateh Jang, Attock.
Maryam said Imran had "lost his mental balance" after losing power in the wake of the no-confidence motion.
She questioned Imran for raising hue and cry on his exit, reminding him of his previous statements wherein he had said he was happy that the opposition submitted the no-trust motion against him.
"Now that the no-trust motion has succeeded, people must ask Imran why is he raising objections?"
Shedding light on the alleged corruption charges against former first lady Bushra Bibi's friend Farah Khan, PML-N leader said the PTI's "so-called independence march" was actually a "save Gogi" march.
"Farah Gogi's corruption trails lead to Bani Gala. It's unfortunate that Imran Khan never publically tried saving his sister Aleema Khan when there were allegations hurled against her, but he came to Gogi's rescue while speaking on national TV," she said.
