As per details, The PDM summit will be held in Islamabad and all the leaders are directed to attend the meeting.

The PDM President and JUI-F Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman will chair the meeting.

PDM leaders will have a brief overview on political state of affairs within the nation over recently-held Senate polls and by-elections.

Earlier yesterday, PDM President and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice chairman Maryam Nawaz have reiterated that resignation from the assemblies is vital if the long march is to be made efficient.

On the other hand Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) strongly oppose the option and has been convincing them to go for an in-house change and use the resignation technique as a last resort.

Referring to long march, PDM President said that rallies from across the country will move towards Islamabad on March 26.

Fazl futher stated that with (PML-N) Vice President getting threats, courts are the last hope.

While referring to former premier Yousaf Raza Gillani, Maulana said, “There is an important meeting scheduled tomorrow in which final decision related to resignations will be taken. The whole nation saw how cameras were installed in senate’s polling booth. Why a defaulter of two billion was allowed to contest elections”.

“The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has moved Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking cancellation of Maryam’s bail. The anti-corruption watchdog is proving our stance correct by becoming a spokesperson of other institutions. Everyone is witnessing the interference in Pakistani politics since 2018. The establishment’s role was prominent in recently held senate elections,” he said.

“All opposition parties are willing and ready to participate in long march, the coronavirus won’t stop us,” he added.
