Islamabad: The National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) is all set to execute the testing of drones to monitor traffic and patrolling of the roads.
According to details, the Motorway Police have bought drones and have initiated to utilize the drone innovation to investigate the traffic violations and the flow of traffic throughout the major motorways.
The Motorway Official stated that the movement of the Traffic would be monitored by utilizing the drone technology from the M9 highway, according to the Motorway Official.
This initiative is a part of a 5-year plan to upgrade and modify the Services of the National Highways and Motorways Police.
Drones could be useful for exploring the expanded areas and reducing the work cost-effectively. Drone surveillance also enables to cost less expensive the patrolling of highways, particularly in hard-to-reach places, quicker and faster as well.
The testing methodologies of the Drone technology, to patrol motorways, and highways being established in the last month, as per the Motorway Police.
