CTD foils plot to kill religious leaders, arrests two terrorist in Lahore
Lahore: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has foiled a major terrorist plot to kill religious leaders and has arrested members of a banned militant organization in Lahore.
According to details, the terrorists identified as Wilayat Khan and Abdul Mulk urf Izaatullah, were taken into CTD custody from Lari Adda.
Both of them are said to be Afghan nationals.
CTD officials have recovered weapons, explosive materials and a list of members from the minority communities.
The terrorists were going to target religious scholars and minorities.
