Nawaz will be provided with travel documents within 24 hours if he is willing to return back: Rasheed
Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Wednesday said that government can provide travel documents to former premier Nawaz Sharif within 24 hours, if he wishes to return back to Pakistan.

While addressing media, the federal minister said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo did not renew his passport as he had no intention of coming back.
Rasheed also welcomed the decision of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to postpone long march.
“I had predicted earlier that Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman will be deceived. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has made a political and wise decision on the other hand there are two mindsets in PML-N,” he said.
He further said that PDM organized political rallies in every corner of country despite coronavirus pandemic but they are unable to defdeat Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The interior minister also listed few initiatives taken by his ministry including online issuance of visa for 192 countries, increasing validity of passport for ten years and recalling of NADRA officers from all countries back to Pakistan.
