Court approves plea seeking Aamir Liaquat's autopsy; orders exhumation
The court was pleaded to order the exhumation and post-mortem examination of Hussain's body.

Karachi: A local court in Karachi on Saturday ordered exhumation and postmortem of TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s body to ascertain the cause of his mysterious death.
According to details, the judicial magistrate issued notices to the legal heirs of Aamir Liaquat and police officials yesterday on the petition seeking the postmortem of the lawmaker who was found dead at his residence.
The police report presented in court today stated that the police surgeon could not ascertain the cause of death without examining the “internal parts” of the deceased.
On the other hand, the heirs stated they do not suspect any foul play in the former politician’s death and did not want an autopsy.
The court, after hearing the arguments of both parties, reserved the verdict which was read out.
Police, however, has been directed to comply with the court’s order.
