Woman kills two year-old nephew out of ‘Jealousy’

The incident took place on Saturday night in Chamkani Flats where the accused Asima, 22 allegedly killed two year old Irfanullah and dumped his body to second floor. The body of the minor recovered during the day.

The accused is the wife of paternal uncle of the slain child.

Jealousy is the apparent reason for the murder, as the accused had only one daughter and was facing family taunts and domestic problems for not having a son.

The victim gone missing on Friday and came to stay at his uncle’s home along with his grandmother from Parachinar.

Further investigation is underway, says police.
