Dera Ismail Khan: In an unfortunate incident, at least 19 people have been killed while 10 others sustained injuries on Sunday after a passenger bus plunged into a deep ravine near Mughal Kot mountain range in Darazinda area, GNN reported.
According to details, the ill-fated bus was en route to Quetta from Rawalpindi before skidding off a slippery road near Danisar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Reportedly, the passenger bus was carrying 33 passengers and plunged into the ravine when the driver apparently failed to negotiate a sharp bend in the mountainous area.
Relief teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to Zhob by the rescue department of Balochistan province.
Last month, at least 22 people died when a minibus fell into a ravine in Balochistan last month.
