Pakistan Medical Association along with other medical organisations have demanded a complete lockdown in the country.

Addressing the press conference, Prof. Ashraf Nizami said that complete lockdown should be imposed in the country and provision of vaccine to masses should be ensured.
He said that the government should immediately declare a state of emergency in the country, especially in Punjab.
Adding he said that the government has adopted a lockdown policy under the pressure of organisations and institutions while at present the rate of positive cases of COVID-19 in the country has exceeded 10%.
Prof. Ashraf Nizami accused the government of criminal negligence in providing vaccines.
Keep in mind that the third wave of coronavirus has arrived in the country and the number of cases is increasing rapidly.
