Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday extended felicitation to the United States of America on its Independence Day.
PM Shehbaz, in a tweet, said “It is my pleasure to extend heartiest felicitations and greetings to the people and government of the United States on their Independence Day”.

The premier further said that his government looks forward to engaging with the Biden Administration at all levels to promote bilateral relations including trade and investment.
It is pertinent to remember that the United States is celebrating 246th Independence Day on the 4th of July every year. The day is celebrated to mark the annual celebration of nationhood in the United States.
Since 1941, the 4th of July remains a public holiday in the United States, and thus marks the day when people in the US celebrate the birth of American Freedom.
