Heavy rain inundates roads, disrupts traffic in parts of Lahore

Lahore: Heavy rain inundated low-lying areas in different cities, including Lahore, on Thursday.

According to details, the weather has become pleasant due to heavy rains in and around the areas in Lahore. Heavy rain was reported at Gaddafi Road, Kamonki, Gujarat, Kasur and other areas of the city.

However, the torrential rains inundated the streets, major roads, and low-lying areas, causing hardship to the citizens.

Heavy rain also caused power outages at several places in different parts of the city.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has forecast more rain and said that the spell of recent rains will continue for two to three days.
