Pakistan’s badminton star Mahoor Shahzad optimistic to win Poland’s International tournament
Karachi: Pakistan international badminton star Mahoor Shahzad is optimistic to win Polish International Badminton Tournament, which will help her qualify for 2021 Olympics.

Taking to twitter, the 24-year old sportswoman shared the news that she is travelling to Poland to represent Pakistan in an international tournament.
She further wrote that travelling in the middle of a pandemic is a huge risk, but she has to avail the opprtunity in order to represent Pakistan at Olympics 2021, scheduled in Tokyo, Japan.
“Do pray that I make Pakistan proud,” she added.

Mahoor Shahzad is the daughter of a former badminton player and veteran rower Muhammad Shahzad and a sister of weightlifter Rabia Shahzad. She started playing badminton at the age of 11 and is known for her smartest movements in the court which she uses against her opponents.
She was the women's singles champion at the 2017 Pakistan International tournament and has also participated at the 2014 Asian Games, and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
