Veteran Indian actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi passes away
Veteran actor, Mithilesh Chaturvedi passed away at the age of 67 due to a heart ailment.

New Delhi: Veteran Indian actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi passed away Thursday morning due to cardiac arrest, a family member said. He was 67.
The 67-year-old actor suffered cardiac arrest 10 days ago and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhiruben Ambani hospital in suburban Mumbai.
The character artiste had delivered memorable performances in Hindi films such as ‘Taal’, ‘Fiza’, ‘Asoka’, ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, ‘Krrish’, ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ and web series ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’.
The actor is survived by wife, two daughters and a son.
Mithilesh Chaturvedi was one of the few actors in India, who has gained success in television, films, and the OTT platform.
The iconic actor was last seen in the film, Gulabo Sitabo, in which he had shared the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana.

Iraqi Navy Commander Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al-Zayed held a meeting with Naval Chief Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi in Islamabad on Wednesday and discussed cooperation in the maritime sector.
The Iraqi Commander appreciated Pakistan Navy's role in regional maritime security.

Humid, hot weather expected in most parts of the country
Heavy falls are likely at isolated places in lower Sindh

Islamabad: Humid and hot weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
However, rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Sindh, Balochistan, Potohar region, northeast and south Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.
Heavy falls are likely at isolated places in lower Sindh and South Balochistan during the period.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: Islamabad twenty-seven degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-eight, Karachi thirty-one, Peshwar twenty-nine, Quetta thirteen, Gilgit twenty-two, Murree nineteen and Muzafarabad twenty-three degree centigrade. According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain-wind-thundershower is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla while partly cloudy with chances of rain, thundershower is expected in Leh.

First Constituent Assembly’s diamond Jubilee celebrations to commence from today
The theme of the celebrations is "Mera- Parliman-Rahbar-i-Taraqqi-o-Kamal"

Islamabad: The five-day diamond jubilee celebrations to commemorate the first constituent assembly of Pakistan, are beginning at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Wednesday (today).
The celebrations are meant to highlight the services of all Parliamentarians in furthering the cause of democracy and its values in the country.
An elaborate plan of events has been prepared by the National Assembly Secretariat to commemorate the event in a befitting manner.
The theme of the celebrations is "Mera- Parliman-Rahbar-i-Taraqqi-o-Kamal"
The celebrations will commence today with inauguration of three-day Photographs Exhibition themed “Tarjuman-i-mazi shan-i-Hal”.
Likewise, another three-day Art and Painting Exhibition with the theme “Pak Sarzamin Shad Baad” and yet other three-day Book Exhibition with theme “Qaum, Mulk, Saltanat” would be held.
The Minorities Convention would be held tomorrow, on the eve of International Day for Minorities to acknowledge the services of minorities towards progress and development of the country.
The Minorities Convention would be followed by a Convention of Women Parliamentarians with the theme ” Markaz-e- Yaqeen Shaad Baad’.
A Convention of Youth and Children themed “Azm-i-ali shan,” would be held on Friday.
A mega Parliamentary Convention will be held on Saturday under the theme of “Sayah-yi-Khuda-yi-Zul-Jalal.” It will signify the importance of continuity of democratic system in the country.
