Islamabad: The federal government has decided to suspend the mobile phone service on the occasion of Pakistan Day parade to be held tomorrow i.e. Thursday, March 25.

According to details, Mobile services will be suspended in Rawalpindi and Islamabad from 5 am to 2 pm tomorrow (Thursday), further all roads leading to the parade ground will be also sealed.
Traffic police has also formulated a traffic diversion plan to avoid any blockade.
The expressway from Coral Chowk will be fully closed for every type of traffic while alternative routes will be provided for traffic passing through the central Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
It may be recalled that there will be a public holiday in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Thursday on the occasion of Pakistan Day Parade.
Earlier, Pakistan Army had decided to postpone the Military parade which was scheduled to be held on March 23 on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 23rd March parade has been delayed due to bad weather and fear of heavy rain fall in Islamabad and is now rescheduled on March 25.
ISPR has issued guidelines for the participants of the March 23 parade, according to which the participants of the parade have already been placed in a special bio-secure bubble from day-one.
According to ISPR, all participants in the parade must strictly adhere to the COVID-19 SOPs, and spectators will not be allowed to enter the venue without wearing a safety mask.
According to the Pakistan Army media wing, special checks will be carried out at all entrances. The application of face mask and sanitizer has been ensured at all the entrance of each enclosure.
However, those wishing to watch the parade will have to go through a temperature check, while seating for guests at the event has been arranged while following the concept of social distance.
To mark March 23 in a befitting manner Armed Forces are busy in rehearsals and drills at Shakarparian parade ground, Islamabad to celebrate the day in a spectacular way.
Armed forces troops and other departments can be seen busy in rehearsals and making other administrative arrangements for the day, to be held in dignified and respectful manner.
