Islamabad: The KSE-100 index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Wednesday continued with optimistic trend, gaining 170.75 points and closing at 46,458.13 points.

A total 610,940,266 shares were traded during the day with shares price stood at Rs29 billion. As many as 421 companies’ transacted shares in the stock market on Wednesday, 224 of them recorded increased and 187 sustained losses whereas the share price of 10 companies remained unaffected.
