Chrissy Tegan deletes her Twitter account
The American model, TV personality, author and entrepreneur Chrissy Tegan posted a thread on Twitter, telling her more than 13.7 million followers that she was leaving the platform — before she deleted the account.

The model has deleted her account on Twitter, saying that the social media site no longer plays a positive role in her life.
“Hey. For over 10 years, you guys have been my world. I honestly owe so much to this world we have created here. I truly consider so many of you my actual friends,” Teigen wrote in the farewell message. “But it’s time for me to say goodbye. This no longer serves me as positively as it serves me negatively, and I think that’s the right time to call something.”
The American model's account collection of mixed humorous posts about her husband John Legend and their children, humorous observations on various topics, and critical posts about people with whom she disagreed or criticized her.
As an outspoken, funny and prolific tweeter, Teigen shared her political opinions along with personal musings, recipes and photos with her husband, singer John Legend.
In her final post on Twitter, Teigen wrote, “My life goal is to make people happy. The pain I feel when I don’t is too much for me. I’ve always been portrayed as the strong clap-back girl but I’m just not. My desire to be liked and fear of pissing people off has made me somebody you didn’t sign up for, and a different human than I started here as! Live well tweeters. Please know all I ever cared about was you!!!”
Teigen had joined Twitter in May 2009. Her accounts on other platforms remain active, including on Instagram and YouTube.
Last year, Chrissy Tegan shared a post about her miscarriage, in which she shared a picture of herself in the hospital.
In another photo, Chrissy Tegan and her husband were depressed over the loss.
Some users criticized her for sharing pictures of such painful and sad moments on social media.
Chrissy Tegan wrote that she faced many attacks from accounts with low followers and suffered a lot.
In his last post, he told his followers, "Don't forget that your words matter."
