Lahore: In an unfortunate incident, G News Network’s (GNN) Associate Producer Shehroz Aslam passed away Tuesday, following a hit-and-run accident near Sherpao Bridge Lahore.
According to GNN correspondent Sarfaraz Ahmed, the accident occurred due to the high speed of the car driver, who rammed into the motorcycle of the deceased from behind.
Shehroz, who was returning home after completing his duty, succumed to his injuries and died in the hospital.
As per preliminary investigation, the car had a fake number plate, and driver fled the scene.
The police, however, took the vehicle into custody and started an investigation into the accident.
GNN offered condolence to family of Associate Producer and assured the bereaved family of all-out support.
The staff prayed the Almighty may rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
