Mumbai: Sidharth Shukla, India’s much adored and one of its favourite silver screen stars, is being remembered on Friday (today) on his first death anniversary.

Many of his friends and fans remember him and have shared their condolences on various social media sites.
To mark the TV star's first death anniversary, his family members, on Thursday, attended a prayer meeting with the Brahma Kumaris (a spiritual movement, focuses on personal transformation through meditation).
Shukla was a devout Brahma Kumari devotee who would frequently accompany his mother to their meetings.
After his death, the 40-year-old's rumoured-girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill also joined the organisation. This year on January 27, the actress-singer celebrated her birthday with Brahma Kumaris.
Born on 12 December 1980 in Mumbai, Sidharth made his acting debut with a lead role in the 2008 show ‘Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na’.
In 2014, he made his Bollywood debut in a supporting role in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’.
The Big Boss winner is also known for his roles in daily soaps such as "Balika Vadhu" and "Dil Se Dil Tak". He is also popular for his tints in reality shows such as "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6", "Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi".
The actor's last screen outing was Ekta Kapoor's show 'Broken but Beautiful 3' in which he played the role of Agastya.
The acclaimed star passed away on September 2, due to a sudden heart attack.
