Pakistan is facing the ravages of unprecedented floods

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the revised UN appeal for 816 million dollars for flood victims underscores the need for continued global engagement.
In a tweet today, he said with the food and health crisis becoming graver, we need to ramp up the action. He also thanked UN Secretary-General António Guterres for his leadership in articulating the needs of people affected by disastrous floods.
