Peshawar: Wheat flour and sugar prices have once again started going up in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa’s provincial capital.

According to details, a 20kg bag of wheat flour 15kg bag is being sold at Rs. 1300, while a 20kg bag of super fine wheat flour is available at Rs. 1350.
On the other hand, the sugar price in the wholesale market has jumped to Rs. 5,200 per 50kg bag, while 1kg sugar is available at the price of Rs. 110.
The price of sugar has been increased by Rs. 18 per kg in one month.
The residents have demanded that the government should ensure availability of all basic food items at reasonable prices.
