Hyderabad police kill four criminals who robbed Rs130mn from cash van
Police recovered Rs54 million and weapons from the possession of the deceased suspects
Hyderabad: Four alleged robbers, who had looted over Rs130 million from a bank's cash van in Hyderabad few days ago, were killed in an encounter with the Hyderabad police on Monday.
A policeman suffered injuries in the encounter, the police said.
The police acted on the information about the presence of the accused in the area of Hattri police station and then a police encounter ensued.
Police recovered Rs54 million and weapons from the possession of the dead.
SP Amjad Shaikh has claimed that the dead accused were involved in the robbery of 13 crore rupees from the cash van of the bank in Hyderabad a few days ago.
Hyderabad City police constable Asad Chana was admitted to a hospital in Karachi.
