Karachi: Gold shined in the local bullion markets on Wednesday, gaining Rs100 per tola.
According to All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold had jumped to settle at Rs1,82,800 per tola, while 10 grams gold also gained Rs85 in price and settled at Rs1,56,721 per 10 grams.
In the international market, the precious commodity decreased by $7 in price and settled at $1,803 per ounce.
The price of gold apparently witnessed an increase in the wake of fast approaching wedding season.
