Sukkur: The Excise and Narcotics Department Monday seized 100kg of drugs smuggled to Karachi through an oil tanker, reportedly.
According to the details, the oil tanker was seized at national highway near Sukkur that was going from Peshawar to Karachi.
The excise officials stated that the drugs were skillfully hidden in the tanker, but the excise staff foiled the drug smuggling attempt by taking timely action.
The officials further stated that the seized high-quality hashish worth more than Rs6 million.
The arrested accused had been identified as Akbar and Siraj, against whom a case had been registered.
