The CTD added that the killed terrorist belonged to the banned organization.


Peshawar: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Peshawar Saturday killed four terrorists in a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO) with security forces near Khyber border, reportedly.
According to media reports, an official statement issued by CTD Peshawar told, “The operation killed four terrorists, however the raiding team recovered four Kalashnikovs and three hand grenades from them”.
The CTD added that the killed terrorist belonged to the banned organization and were wanted by the security department in various cases.
The crossfire between terrorists and security forces continued for a while. After the gun battle, four terrorist were found dead while three to four of them managed to escape in the dark.
Earlier in the day, CTD claimed to have detained five terrorists that belonged to banned outfits, during IBOs in different areas of Punjab.
The accused were identified as Shah Wali, Wahid Khan, Miskeenullah, Sher Naqib and Inamul Haque.
